Term 2 Highlights
The things I have enjoyed about Term 2 are:-
Passion Project-
Because it has been fun and I have been learning different things about cars.
I enjoyed collaborating with Jun and Rishi to gather information rather than being on my own.
I like the way we do our learning-
Because if I am stuck I can go and ask an expert, and if none are available I can put up my hand for Mr Formans help.
Dancing with Dean
WHAT?
IHBL: a hip routine
a cha cha routine
to combine different movements in to a dance routine to Treasure by Bruno Mars
to combine different cha cha moves into a dance routine.
So What?
My favourite movement was the robot.
I found the 'five punches routine' the most challenging and some people stepped on my toes.
What I enjoyed most about Dean’s teaching was …
I feel quite confident with the dance routines we learned.
Now what?
I would like to do further dance lessons
I would like to learn some different types of dance
ANZAC Blog 1
What? I am learning about Anzac Day as it is an important part of our learning about ‘Being a New Zealander’
So What?
Two things I know: we have ANZAC day to celebrate the people that died and the poppies that grew in Flanders field stand for the blood of the solders.
Two things I would like to know: what guns were used in world war one.
Two things I have learned:I have learned ANZAC Day is 25th of April and poppies grew in Flander's Field
Now What?
I would like to learn more about why they started the war because I am interested in finding out.
Keeping Ourselves Safe
What? l am learning to make safe decisions.
So what? l am learning this so that I can stay safe and also to know about the different types of abuse. For example, sexual, physical, cyber, emotional, neglect, family violence.
Now what? An example of a safe decision is if I see someone bullying another student everyday I would tell them to stop and if they did not stop I would tell my teacher.
